Executive Board

Officers

President: Dominic Rainville is a senior at the University of New Hampshire pursuing a major in finance and a minor in accounting. Originally from Montreal, Canada, he came to UNH to join the Division 1 alpine ski team. This past summer, Dominic interned at KPMG Corporate Finance as an M&A summer analyst. 

Portfolio Manager: Trent McGoldrick is a senior from Fairfield, CT pursuing a BS in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Throughout Trent's time in the Atkins Investment Group, he has gained exposure to the Energy and Utilities Sectors and has overseen AIG event planning. During his time at UNH, Trent has been involved in the Financial Partners Program, Outdoor Adventures Expedition Program, and the Founding of the Pickleball Club. This past summer, Trent interned at Fidelity Investments, assisting their Branch Digital Experience Team.

Vice President: Colby Sherwin is a senior pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Accounting. Originally from Brentwood, NH, Colby is a third-year member of the group where he will hold the position of Executive Vice President. Previously, he served as a Healthcare analyst, Macroeconomic Strategy analyst, and the sector leader for Basic Materials. Furthermore, he has also held the position of Director of Recruiting. This past summer, Colby interned at Citizens Bank in Johnston, RI as a Real Estate Analyst.

Chief Economist: Jonathan Rowe is a junior from Andover, Massachusetts majoring in Finance and minoring in Computer Science. This will be Jonathan’s third semester as a part of the group, focusing on the Fixed Income sector. He’s excited to learn about the different markets and dive deeper into the economy. After graduation, Jonathan hopes to work as an Investment Banker in either Boston or New York. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, fishing, and is a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity on campus.

Vice President of Operations: Jacob Overton is a junior studying Finance and Economics. Originally from Derry NH, this is his third semester with the group, and first as a sector leader, previously being an analyst in the REITs and Energy sectors. On campus, Jacob is an honors student, Dean’s List member, and is a Dean’s Ambassador for the Paul College. This past summer, Jacob worked for his hometown of Derry, and enjoys the outdoors and going to the gym in his free time.

Vice President of External Relations: Kathryn LaCasse is a rising senior pursuing a degree in Finance and a minor in Sports Management. Originally from Raymond, NH, Kathryn is a third-year member of the group where she will be VP External. Previously, she served as a sector leader and analyst for the REITs sector and an analyst for the Fixed Income sector. This past summer she interned at Fidelity Investments as a Client Relations Intern.

Sectors

Macroeconomic Team

Sector Leader: Jonathan Rowe is a junior from Andover, Massachusetts majoring in Finance and minoring in Computer Science. This will be Jonathan’s third semester as a part of the group, focusing on the Fixed Income sector. He’s excited to learn about the different markets and dive deeper into the economy. After graduation Jonathan hopes to work as an Investment Banker in either Boston or New York. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, fishing, and is a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity on campus.

Analyst: Aiden Giarnese

Analyst: Flora Litvinova is a sophomore from Los Angeles, California, pursuing a degree in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. This is her second semester with The Atkins Investment Group. In addition to Atkins, Flora is a member of the professional business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi and a peer counselor at the UNH Financial Aid Office. Her hobbies include fashion, dancing, spending time with friends, and exploring new coffee shops.

Basic Materials

Sector Leader: Evan Madigan is a junior from Londonderry, New Hampshire, pursuing a degree in business administration with a focus in finance and accounting. Evan is the current basic materials sector leader within the Atkins Investment Group and will be interning at PWC in Boston the summer of 2025. In his free time, Evan enjoys reading, going to the gym, and spending time with friends.

Analyst: Brayden Kearns is a senior from Deerfield, NH, pursuing a double major in Finance and Economics. This is his third semester in the group, where he will be an analyst in the basic materials sector. Brayden is also a member of the Division I track and field team here at UNH. He looks forward to expanding his knowledge in finance and economics. Brayden worked as a Profit & Loss Summer Analyst at Bracebridge Capital this past summer in Boston MA.

Analyst: Connor McGinley is a sophomore from Exeter, NH. He is pursuing a master's degree in accounting, and this will be his second semester in the group. He is a member of the basic materials sector and is looking forward to learning more about what this sector has to offer. Outside of Atkins he is the President of Theta Chi Fraternity. He also enjoys skiing, working out, and playing sports.

Consumer Discretionary

Sector Leader: Colby Sherwin is a senior pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Accounting. Originally from Brentwood, NH, Colby is a third-year member of the group where he will hold the position of Executive Vice President. Previously, he served as a Healthcare analyst, Macroeconomic Strategy analyst, and the sector leader for Basic Materials. Furthermore, he has also held the position of Director of Recruiting. Analyst: Keigen Delisle is a sophomore from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, pursuing a degree in Finance. This is his first semester as a member of the Atkins Investment Group, where he focuses on analyzing stocks in the consumer discretionary sector. Outside of Atkins, he is actively involved in the club lacrosse team and is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Additionally, he works as a banker at Meredith Village Savings Bank in Portsmouth.

Consumer Staples

Sector Leader: Tyler Baker is a sophomore from Westford, MA. He is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Information Systems and Business Analytics. He will utilize the skills required for his major to help him excel in the Atkins Investment Group. As a utilities sector analyst, he will look to further his investment and equity research skills to help him succeed in his role. In the future, Tyler hopes to start his career in investing or wealth management. Outside of the Atkins Investment Group, Tyler is a player on the UNH Club Baseball Team and a member of Theta Chi Fraternity.

Analyst: Liam Hartwig is a junior from Mendon, Massachusetts pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. With his passion for following markets and macroeconomic trends, as well as managing portfolios, Liam is looking forward to his second semester with the Atkins Investment Group. He is also a member of Theta Chi Fraternity and the Financial Partners Program. Following his time at UNH, he aspires to lead a career in either wealth management or investor relations.

Analyst: David Wu is a sophomore from Nashua, NH. He is pursuing a degree in Accounting. This is his second semester in the Atkins Investment Group. Outside of Atkins, David is a Paul Scholar and Hamel Scholar. In his free time, he likes to play video games and hang out with friends. 

Energy

Sector Leader: Amelia Magay is a junior studying Finance and Arabic, also pursuing a concurrent master's in finance. Originally from Bedford, NH, this is her fourth semester with the group and second as a sector leader. Previously, she spent two semesters working in the Industrials sector. This past summer, she worked at Vigilant Wealth Management as a wealth advisory intern and has interned at two separate private equity funds. She is also a member of the Army National Guard and UNH ROTC.

Analyst: Ben Soucy is a sophomore from Manchester, NH, studying Finance and Information System and Business Analytics. This is his first year with the Atkins Investment Group, working within the Consumer Discretionary Sector. Outside of Atkins, Ben plays tennis for the UNH club team and works at the Hamel Recreational Center. Over the summer, he worked as an intern at Brady Sullivan property, learning more about the financial side of commercial and residential real estate. When not working, he does many things, such as soccer, tennis, basketball, fishing, skiing, and spending quality time with quality people. 

Analyst: Ethan Keller is a junior from Dover, NH pursuing dual degrees in Finance and Accounting with a minor in English. This is his first semester with The Atkins Investment Group, and he looks forward to working beside motivated individuals. In addition to Atkins, Ethan is involved in Hamel Scholars, plays viola in the UNH Symphony Orchestra, and leads a board game group on campus. He spends much of his free time reading. Ethan plans on traveling to Africa next summer through the International Changemakers Grant, where he will use his business skills to implement sustainable solutions to local problems.

Financial Institutions & Groups

Sector Leader: Ava Buckenmaier is a senior from Milford, MA, pursuing a degree in Finance with a minor in Economics. This will be her third semester in the group, previously a sector leader and analyst in REITs. In addition to Atkins, Ava supports the Paul College FIRE Program as their intern and is serving as a Dean’s Ambassador for the year. Following graduation, Ava will be returning to Franklin Templeton in Boston as a Wealth Management Internal Sales Associate.

Analyst: Alexis Tuten is a junior pursuing a degree in Accounting, as well as her Master's in Science of Accounting (MSA). This is her third semester with the Atkins Investment Group. In addition to Atkins and the Accelerated MSA Program, she is a member of HerCampus, a student run and led news page, and is a peer advisor at UNH’s Financial Aid Office. Originally from Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, Alexis enjoys spending her time reading, with friends and family, and staying active. Next summer, she will work as an intern for the CPA firm, Leone, McDonnell & Roberts.

Analyst: Elias Grabowski is a sophomore pursuing a bachelor's degree in economics, this will be his first semester in the Atkins investment group. Eli has been studying economics and finance long before school presented it to him. He is an autodidactic learner that enjoys teamwork and proper debate. Eli is seeking a career as a hedge fund manager who specializes in building algorithmic and ML strategies.

Health Care

Sector Leader: Kathryn LaCasse is a rising senior pursuing a degree in Finance and a minor in Sports Management. Originally from Raymond, NH, Kathryn is a third-year member of the group where she will be VP External. Previously, she served as a sector leader and analyst for the REITs sector and an analyst for the Fixed Income sector. This past summer she interned at Fidelity Investments as a Client Relations Intern.

Analyst: Isabella Campion is a sophomore from Auckland, New Zealand pursuing a degree in finance. This is her second semester in the Atkins investment group. In addition to Atkins, Isabella is a member of the division one swim team and the UNH Rutman fellows.

Analyst: Harrison Spalthoff is a junior from Goffstown NH, pursuing a degree in accounting. This is his first semester with the group, where he is an Analyst in the Healthcare sector. Harrison has experience as a Venture Fellow at New North Ventures, where he assists with fund administration and participates in OpCo diligence. He also works in Financial Operations at CrunchAtlas, focusing on financial administration and budgeting. As the General Partner of Millworks Bio, he has invested in biotechnology ventures. On campus, Harrison is a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. In his free time, he enjoys skiing and hanging out with friends.

Industrials

Sector Leader: Mons Langaard is a senior from Oslo, Norway, and a member of the UNH ski team. This is his third semester in the Atkins Investment Group. He is pursuing a dual major in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies. Next summer, Mons will complete an internship in Norway as a Project Finance Intern before continuing his studies with a master’s degree at Imperial College London. Outside of Atkins, he is the founder and president of the Wildcat Consulting Group. In his spare time, Mons enjoys skiing and staying active.

Analyst: Quinn Lewis is a junior from Bow, New Hampshire pursuing a degree in Finance. This is Quinn’s second semester in Atkins and looks forward to being an analyst for the industrials sector.

Analyst: Broderick Hamilton is a junior from Queensbury, New York pursuing a dual degree in Economics and Finance. This is his first semester with The Atkins Investment Group, and he looks forward to contributing to the team while developing his investment skills. In addition to his involvement with Atkins, Broderick is a member of the UNH Sales Club and Sigma Nu fraternity. His hobbies include surfing, skiing, and working out. This past summer, Broderick completed his sophomore internship as an Economic Development Intern for the City of Glens Falls.

Technology

Sector Leader: Ben Garvin is a senior from Derry, New Hampshire pursuing a major in Finance with a minor in Information Technology. This will be his fifth semester in the Atkins Investment Group, with his prior semesters being in the Industrials, Consumer Staples, Utilities, and Communications sectors. Ben is excited to start his final semester in the group as the leader of the Technology sector. Outside of school, Ben enjoys basketball, video games, and spending time with family and friends.

Analyst: Willa Stewart is a senior from Eliot, Maine pursuing a dual option Business Administration major in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies. This is her second semester in the group, in which she will be an analyst in the technology sector. Last summer, she was a wealth management intern at Morgan Stanley’s Granite State Group. Outside of Atkins, Willa is an active member of Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed community service group. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends, family, and dogs. 

Analyst: Nathaniel Doherty is a sophomore from Concord, NH pursuing a degree in Finance. This is his second semester in Atkins Investment Group. Outside of Atkins, he is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, the sales club and is a knack tutor for Economics and Math. Outside of school Nate holds an internship with Carlson Investments in his hometown that is primarily focused on market and equity research. Nate enjoys golfing, fishing, and hanging out with friends and family.

Communications

Sector Leader: Dylan Barriero is a senior from Norfolk Massachusetts pursuing a degree in finance. This is his third year within the group, previously a sector leader within technology, and an analyst in consumer discretionary and consumer staples. Outside of Atkins, Dylan is also apart of the ski club and chess club. Over the summer he interned at State Street working on the alpha team.

Analyst: Noemi Martinez is a sophomore from Glen Ridge, New Jersey pursuing a dual major in Finance and Spanish. This is her first semester with the Atkins Investment Group, and she is looking forward to gaining hands-on experience with investment decisions and financial markets. Outside of the group, she is a member of the division 1 hockey team and serves as a tutor for fellow athletes on campus. In her free time, she enjoys boxing and traveling.

Analyst: Aidan McGinley

Utilities

Sector Leader: Jacob Overton is a junior from Derry, NH, pursuing a degree in finance and a minor in economics. This is his fourth semester with the Atkins Investment Group, having previous experience in the REITs and Energy sectors. Jacob also serves on the group's Executive Board, serving as the Vice President of Operations. On campus, he is an honors student, member of the Dean’s List and serves as a Dean’s Ambassador for the Paul College. In his free time, Jacob enjoys going to the gym, UNH athletic events, and playing sports such as golf, basketball and soccer. Next summer, he will work as an Intern for Fidelity Investments as a Customer Relations Advocate.

Analyst: Ryan Juliano; is a junior from Bedford, NH, pursuing a degree in Finance. This is his third semester with the Atkins Investment Group, having previously been an analyst for the Consumer Staples and Industrials sectors. He hopes to one day have a career in either Investment Management or Investment Banking. His hobbies include going to the gym, golfing, and spending time outdoors.

Analyst: Matthew Guidebeck; is a sophomore from North Reading, MA, pursuing a degree in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Sales. This is his first semester with the Atkins Investment Group, and he is excited to deepen his understanding of the utilities sector while applying his quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to contribute meaningful insights. Matt is eager to learn from the expertise of experienced members as he works toward his goal of a career in wealth management. Outside of Atkins, he is a member of the UNH Football team and a Rutman Fellow. In his free time, he enjoys reading and golfing.

Real Estate Investment Trusts

Sector Leader: Mike Stoddard is a Junior from Concord, NH studying Business Administration with a concentration in finance. This is Mike’s second semester in Atkins. This past summer, Mike interned at Harbour Capital Corporation. Outside of Atkins, Mike likes to hang out with his friends, go to UNH hockey games, and play golf. Mike is extremely excited to expand his knowledge of finance.

Analyst: Spencer Cutt is a junior from Pittsford NY, studying Finance and Accounting. This is his third semester with the group, and he plans to use his experience in other roles with the group as a background to build further experience from. Outside of Atkins, he is a member of the Financial Partners Program at UNH and is a proud member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. His favorite non-academic activities include fly-fishing and skiing.

Analyst: Joey Venditti is a Junior from Natick, MA, majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics. This is Joey’s second semester in The Atkins Investment Group, he was in the Consumer Discretionary sector previously. Joey is currently a brother and the Vice President of External Relations in Alpha Kappa Psi, the co-ed professional business fraternity. This past summer, Joey was an Intern for Crocs Inc. He worked specifically for HeyDude and was a Demand Planning Intern. In January of 2023, Joey was a finance intern at EPG Incorporated and that continued into the summer of 2023 and January of 2024. In Joey’s free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, fishing, and participating in intramural sports.  

Fixed Income

Sector Leader: Kyle Kempskie is a senior pursuing a dual degree in Finance and International Business & Economics. From Bellingham, MA, Kyle is a third-year member of the group. He was previously an analyst in basic materials and FIG. This spring, he spent the semester abroad in Barcelona, Spain. This last summer, Kyle interned at Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, RI as a client relations intern. The best advice he can give as he enters his last year of college is to have a good balance of working hard and having fun.

Analyst: Mason Tatarian is a sophomore studying Finance and Economics. This is his second semester in the group, spending time analyzing energy holdings this past semester. Mason looks forward to diving into the credit markets with the Fixed Income team as he pursues a career is Restructuring Investment Banking.

Analyst: Shubh Amin is a senior from India pursuing a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance and enrolled in the Accelerated Master’s in Finance program. Last semester, he served as an analyst in the technology sector for the Atkins Investment Group. In Fall 2024, he took the CFA Level I exam to deepen his expertise in finance. He has also completed a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) internship in India and is currently seeking summer internship opportunities. Outside of Atkins, Shubh enjoys playing cricket and watching Formula 1 racing in his free time.
