The Atkins Investment Group is now accepting applications for the 2015 – 2016 school year. All majors and grade levels are encouraged to apply. Applications and resumes should be submitted by Friday, April 24, 2015 to Atkins Investment Group at email@example.com. Please provide a resume with the application.
There will be approximately 20 open positions in the group for next year. Students applying will then interview for those open positions and new members will be selected by the end of the spring semester. This is a graded 2-credit course. Attached is the Atkins Application Form.

For the first time in its history, the Wildcat Fund has closed above the $100,000 mark, ending the day at $100,057.85.
On December 2nd, the Atkins Investment Group was joined by alumni Peter Paul and Whittemore School of Business & Economics Dean Daniel Innis. A special presentation was given by the group’s President and Portfolio Manager regarding the future stability of Japan’s economic environment. After a session of questions and debate, Mr. Paul spoke with the group’s officers about the current economic climate.

On Friday November 4th at 1:00PM, the group will be meeting for a round of golf. The game will be played at Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth, NH. Interested members should contact Atkins President, Colin Kelley.
Ahmad Etebari is the current Chair of the Accounting and Finance Department at the Whittemore School of Business & Economics, a position he has held since 1994. He has held visiting professor positions at universities in Australia, New Zealand, and Iran. Professor Etebari’s research primarily involves in-depth analysis of corporate finance and investments. In 1992, he received the Whittemore School of Business & Economics’ Excellence in Teaching. He serves on the board of various organizations, such as The Journal of Northeast Business & Economics Studies and The Petroleum Accounting and Financial Management Journal.
Stephen Ciccone, currently an Associate Professor of Finance, received his Ph.D. in Business Administration (Finance) from Florida State University in 2000. Formerly, he worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen from 1994 to 1996 and has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1995. Professor Ciccone’s research primarily revolves around examining analyst forecasts. He has presented his work worldwide, including the cities of Madrid, Toronto, Bordeaux, and London. In 2006 he won the Whittemore School of Business & Economics’ award for Outstanding Researcher, and in 2010, the award for Excellence in Teaching.
