Alexys Gilcreast, from Hudson, NH, majors in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Psychology and will graduate in 2018. This will be her second year in the group where she will leave her role as a Utilities Sector Analyst to serve as President of the group. During the summer of 2017 she will intern at Pricewaterhouse Coopers on their Transaction Services: Valuation team. Outside of the classroom she enjoys reading, hiking, spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee, and running half marathons. After graduation she hopes to work in advisory or consulting where she can continue to shape the business world and lend a helping hand.

Nick Bagley, from Scarborough, ME, majors in Economics and will graduate in 2017. This is his third year in the Group where he has previously served as a Utilities Analyst, Sector Leader, Director of Recruiting, and this year will be serving as Portfolio Manager of the Group. During the summer of 2016 Nick will be working as an Advisory Services Intern at Eaton Vance Investment Managers. Previously he has worked at Lake Street Advisors and Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys hockey, golf, and spending time with family and friends. After graduation, Nick aspires to work in investment banking.

 

Mike O'Donnell, from Goffstown, NH, majors in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and International Business and a minor in Spanish. This will be his third year with the group, where he will serve as Executive Vice President and Basic Materials Sector Leader. Mike worked as a data analyst intern at Liberty Mutual Insurance during the summer of 2016. He previously worked at John Hancock Investments as a business analyst intern. He enjoys traveling and riding his motorcycle.

 

Finn Johnson from Jackson Hole, WY majors in Economics and will graduate in 2017. This is his third year in the group where he holds the position of Chief Economist. Before taking on the role of Chief Economist Finn served as a telecommunications analyst and an economic strategy analyst. Finn juggles this with his role as associate intern at Paxworld Management on the High Yield team. In his spare time Finn enjoys skiing and exploring New Hampshire’s wild country.

 

Billy Cavanaugh, from Braintree, Ma, majors in Finance and will graduate in 2018. This was his first year in the group where he served as a Consumer Discretionary Sector Analyst, and he will be serving as Vice President of Operations next year.  During the summer of 2016, Billy will be interning at DHK Financial Advisors as an Investment Analyst Intern.  Outside of the classroom, Billy is on the UNH Men’s Lacrosse team and enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with family and friends.  After graduation he hopes to work in Investment Sales.

 

Jon Tamposi, from Hollis, NH, majors in Financial Analysis and will graduate in 2017. This year is his second year in the Group where he holds the position of Vice President of External Affairs and Utilities Sector Leader. During the summer of 2016, Jon was an intern in the Advisory Practice at Deloitte, and spent the summer before interning at IBM. In addition to this group, he serves as a Paul College Peer Adviser. Outside the classroom, Jon enjoys playing the drums and snowboarding.

Economic Strategy Team

Finn Johnson from Jackson Hole, WY majors in Economics and will graduate in 2017. This is his third year in the group where he holds the position of Chief Economist. Before taking on the role of Chief Economist Finn served as a telecommunications analyst and an economic strategy analyst. Finn juggles this with his role as associate intern at Paxworld Management on the High Yield team. In his spare time Finn enjoys skiing and exploring New Hampshire’s wild country.

 

Chandler Wishart, from Derry, NH, majors in Economics (BS) with a concentration in Money and Financial Markets, and will graduate in May of 2018. This will be his second year, second semester in the group where he will continue his role as a fellow Economic Strategy Analyst, under Chief Economist Finn Johnson. During the summer of 2016, he will continue his Financial Advising internship with Granite State Wealth Management, a subsidiary of Commonwealth Financial Network, as welll as join Toronto Dominion Bank as a Customer Service - Sales Associate. For extracurricular activities, Chandler finds his interest in hockey, drumming and skiing, and also is the Pledge Educator for Alpha Kappa Psi, the Co-ed Business Professional Fraternity here at UNH. After graduation, he hopes to immerse himself into the financial advising or asset/wealth management industry, and expand his knowledge in the finance world.

 

Charles White, from Cornish, NH, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics and will graduate in 2019. This will be his first year in the group where he will begin his role as an Analyst on the Economics Team. Outside of the classroom he is a part of the Cycling and Rugby clubs on campus as well as being actively involved in his fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon. After graduation he hopes to pursue higher education in the Economics field before entering the financial services industry.

 

Basic Materials Sector

Mike O'Donnell, from Goffstown, NH, majors in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and International Business and a minor in Spanish. This will be his third year with the group, where he will serve as Executive Vice President and Basic Materials Sector Leader. Rob Doretti, from Westborough, MA, majors in Finance with a minor in Economics and will graduate in 2017. This is his second year in the group where he is currently a Basic Materials Sector Analyst and was previously a Utilities Sector Analyst. Outside of school, Rob enjoys working out, playing soccer, and spending time with friends. After graduation he hopes to become a Wholesaler at an investment firm.

 

 John Evans, from Dover, NH, majors in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and will graduate in 2019. This will be his first year in the group where he will serve as Basic Materials Sector Analyst. During the summer of 2016 he will work as a sales associate at Red’s Shoe Barn in Dover, NH. In his free time he enjoys fishing, fantasy football, and playing softball. After graduation he hopes to work in finance while continuing to help out in the community through community service.

 

Consumer Discretionary Sector

Billy Cavanaugh, from Braintree, Ma, majors in Finance and will graduate in 2018. This was his first year in the group where he served as a Consumer Discretionary Sector Analyst, and he will be serving as Vice President of Operations next year.  During the summer of 2016, Billy will be interning at DHK Financial Advisors as an Investment Analyst Intern.  Outside of the classroom, Billy is on the UNH Men’s Lacrosse team and enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with family and friends.  After graduation he hopes to work in Investment Sales.

 

Tyler Cornellier, from Hooksett, NH majors in Business Administration with a dual concentration in both Finance and Business Analytics. He expects to graduate from the University of New Hampshire in the Spring of 2017. This is Tyler’s second term in the group where he will leave his role as a Basic Material Sector Analyst to join the Consumer Discretionary team as a Sector Analyst. Outside of the classroom Tyler enjoys day trading and has spent the past two years refining a strategy that can weather any market condition. After graduation he plans to pursue opportunities in investment banking or private equity where he can provide new ways of thinking to help a company succeed in the ever-changing financial industry.

 

Christine Lee is from Bedford, NH and majors in Finance and Economics with a minor in English and will graduate in 2019. Outside of Paul College, she is involved with the music department of UNH and enjoys running, hiking, and watching baseball. She is also a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity and Women in Business and taught English in South Korea during the summer of 2016.

 

Consumer Staples Sector

David Veilleux from Methuen, MA majors in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Finance and Business Analytics, and is expected to graduate May 2017. This will be his second year in the group where he will take on a new role as Sector Leader of the Consumer Staples sector. During the past three summers he has interned with BAE Systems, which is a company that designs, configures, and manufactures electronic combat solutions, privately contracting to the defense sector specifically the US Navy. Outside of the classroom he spends his time fishing, hiking, playing softball, and is a member of the UNH Mens Rugby Football Club. After graduation, David hopes to begin working a meaningful career where he can continue to learn, and apply all that he has learned through his internships and education.

 

Matthew French, from Hopkinton, NH, majors in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Finance along with International Business and a minor in Spanish, he will graduate May 2018. This is his first year in the group where he holds the position as Consumer Staples Sector Analyst.  Matt has previously held positions as a Sales Intern for HP Hood and as a Marketing Intern for the Manchester Monarchs.  In his spare time, Matt enjoys playing lacrosse as well as playing soccer and traveling. He recently traveled many countries in Europe while studying abroad at University College Dublin in Ireland. Additionally, Matt plays goalie for the UNH Lacrosse Team.

 

Peter White is a sophomore student at the Paul college pursuing a B.S. in Economics. He is from Jaffrey, New Hampshire and is interested in investment banking and private equity. Outside of the classroom, Peter enjoys singing in the New Hampshire Gentlemen All-Male a capella group, working in Thompson Hall, and participating with campus ministry "Cru." After spending the summer of 2015 at Grove Street Fiduciary near his home town, Peter spent this past summer working in Yellowstone National  Park with Cru.

 

Energy Sector

Paul Valhouli, from Plaistow, NH, majors in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance and will graduate in 2017. This is his second semester in the group where he will hold the position of Energy Sector Leader. During the summer of 2016, Paul interned at Liberty Mutual in Boston, MA within the Financial Internship Program. In addition to this group, he serves as a Dean's Ambassador within the Peter T. Paul College. In his spare time, Paul enjoys playing tennis, golf, and spending time with friends and family.

 

Maxwell Craig, from Boxford, MA, majors in Business Administration with a concentrate in Finance and a minor in Economics and will graduate in 2018. This is his first year in the group where he holds the position as an Industrials Sector Analyst. During the spring of 2016, Max started working as a part time accounts payable clerk for Haverhill Multi-Family, LLC. He plans to continue his remote work throughout the summer and into the academic year. During the summer of 2016, he will also intern at EBSCO as an academic product management intern. In his spare time, Max enjoys lacrosse, soccer, reading and skiing. Additionally, Max plays attack on the UNH Lacrosse team.

 

Patrick Thompson, from Barnstable Massachusetts, majors in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics. This is his first year in Atkins where he currently serves as an Energy Sector Analyst. During this past summer, Patrick interned in Boston at Morgan Stanley for one of the nation’s premier Private Wealth Management Groups. Outside of academia, Patrick enjoys golfing, being out on the water, and coaching Little League. After graduating, Patrick aspires to work in private equity or for a hedge fund.

 

Financials Sector

Nicholas Bouchard, from Colebrook, NH, is a Junior in the Peter T. Paul College of Business & Economics majoring in Business Administration with options in Finance and Accounting. During his first year in the Atkins Investment Group he served as an analyst in the Energy Sector. This will be his second year in the group where he will serve as Sector Leader for the Financials Sector. During the Summer of 2016 Nicholas will intern at Caron & Bletzer, a public accounting and business consulting firm, as an Audit Intern. After graduation, he aspires to work in advisory/consulting where he can learn from industry professionals while implementing acquired skills in order to help other companies improve integral parts of their businesses. In his spare time Nicholas enjoys snowmobiling, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.

 

Austin Wildes, from Seabrook, NH, majors in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business & Economics and will graduate in 2019. This will be his first year in the group where he will begin his role as a Financials Sector Analyst. Outside of the classroom he enjoys reading, golfing, spending time in the gym, and playing hockey. After graduation he hopes to work at an investment bank or multinational corporation where he can pursue his passion pertaining to the ever-changing global markets and make an impact in the world of business.

 

Cameron Bean, from Franklin, MA, majors in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics and will graduate in 2019. This will be his first year in the group, where he will hold the role of Financials Sector Analyst. During the next summer, he will be participating in an internship at Dell EMC. Outside of the classroom he enjoys skiing and fitness, and is a brother of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity.

 

Healthcare Sector

Nicholas Savoia, from Natick, MA, is a junior Finance major and Economics minor and will graduate in 2018. This is his second year in the group where he holds the position of Telecommunications Sector Leader.  Last year, Nicholas held the position of Consumer Staples Sector Analyst. During the summer of 2016, Nicholas interned at Commonwealth Financial Network in Waltham, MA as a Due Diligence Equity Research Intern. In addition to the Group, Nicholas is currently the President of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.  In his spare time, Nicholas enjoys traveling as well as playing golf, soccer and football.

 

Andrew Cappetta, from Hollis, NH, majors in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics and will graduate in 2017. He is joining the group this year as a Healthcare Sector Analyst. He is interning at Fidelity Investments with the Corporate Audit team, focusing on Personal and Workplace Investing. When he isn’t in Paul, he enjoys playing sports, travelling, and spending time with his friends. After graduation, Andrew hopes to work as an investment banker, or continue his work within the audit field.

 

Andre Filadelfo, from Milford, MA, is pursuing a dual major in Accounting and Finance and will graduate in 2018. This will be his first year in the group where he will take role as a Healthcare Sector Analyst. He is a returning Business Operations intern at EMC2 Corporation. In his spare time he enjoys being active, whether it includes playing soccer, exercising or hiking. After graduation he hopes to find a career as a financial advisor. He is currently a member of the UNH Men’s Rugby team.

 

Industrials Sector

Cullen Moore, from Franklin, Massachusetts, majors in Finance with a minor in Economics and will graduate in 2018. This will be his second year in the group where he holds the role of Industrials Sector Leader. In his first year he held the roles of Basic Materials Sector Analyst, as well as Basic Materials Sector leader. During the Summer of 2016, he will be interning at Eze Castle Integration, a Cloud & IT service provider to hedge funds, as a finance intern. Outside of the group, Cullen enjoys playing Golf, Lacrosse & Hockey, as well as spending time with friends & family. Upon graduation, Cullen has high aspirations of becoming an Equity Research Analyst at a top firm.

 

Scott Brockelbank, from Kensington NH, majors in Finance and Business Analytics and will graduate in 2018.  This is his first year in the group where he holds the position of Industrials Analyst.  Throughout the year, Scott owns and operates Kensington Kettle, a kettle corn business featured at local fairs, festivals and in 10+ stores.  Scott is the Director of Finance and External Affairs Chairperson of the Entrepreneurship Club.  In his spare time, he enjoys watching football, exercising and spending time with friends.

 

Eliot Coulter, from Beijing, China, majors in Applied Mathematics with a focus in Economics. This is his first semester in the group, where he will be an analyst for the industrial sector. Last summer he was hired by he World Bank to conduct research on the state of China’s  fishery industry in south China sea. Next summer he will be going to Mongolia for a cultural exchange trip with ROTC. He enjoys basketball, new tech, reading and keeping up with world politics. After graduation he wants to be an infantry officer in the United States Army, after that he would like to start his own company and work with Jet Propulsion Lab to further humanity's reach in the world.

 

Technology Sector

Nick Simo, from Milford, N.H. with a dual major in Finance and International Business and a minor in Mandarin. This will be his second full year in the group and his second semester as Technology Sector Leader. He previously served as a Basic Materials Sector Analyst. Outside of study Nick enjoys traveling, reading, and playing soccer. He recently spent the past several months in Shanghai studying and working part-time in consulting services and hopes to work in asset management with a focus in emerging markets upon graduation next May.

 

Jose Bowen, from Rochester, NH, majors in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Management and will graduate in 2017. This will be his third year in the group where he will leave his role as Consumer Staples Sector Analyst to serve as a Technology Sector Analyst. During the summer of 2016 he will be returning from his semester abroad at Regents University London to travel through several states in the Midwest and work at Target, the second-largest discount retailer in the United States. Outside of the classroom he enjoys reading, gaming on console and pc, hiking, and spending time with friends. After graduation he hopes to work in corporate finance and managerial positions to further international organizations in the global market.

 

Logan Hoffman, a sophomore from Biddeford, ME, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics focusing on Money and Financial Markets. He enters his first year in the Group and will serve as an analyst for the Fixed Income Sector II. In the summer, he works at Huot’s Seafood Restaurant and in the kitchen at West Street Market where he makes delicious hand-made food. School and work aside, Logan enjoys playing guitar, poker, watching college football, reading books, and being outdoors whether it be hiking, snowboarding, or fishing. Following graduation he hopes to work for a large investment bank where he may continue to analyze and deliberate market behavior and execute deals according to such analysis.

 

Telecommunications Sector

George Pantelis, from Newburyport, MA, majors in Finance and Economics and will graduate in 2017.  This is his second year in the group where he holds the position as Telecommunications Sector Leader.  Last year, George held the position of Utilities Sector Analyst.  After graduation George will be an Associate at Berkeley Research Group in their Corporate Restructuring group.  Outside of the classroom, George loves playing golf, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.

 

Aaron LeLacheur, from Reading, MA, is majoring in Finance at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics and will graduate in 2018. This is his second year in the group, where he will serve as a Telecommunications Analyst. During the summer of 2016, he served as an Business IT intern at Zoll Medical Corp. Outside of the classroom Aaron Plays on UNH’s Men’s Rugby team, and enjoys skiing and spending time with family and friends.

 

Nick Muldrow, from Winchester Ma, majors in Finance and Information Systems and will graduate in 2017. This was his second year serving as a sector analyst in telecommunications. During the summer of 2016, Nick interned at PTC as a research analyst. Outside of the classroom, Nick enjoys community service, serves as a executive board member for his fraternity, and connects with students as a Community Assistant for UNH. After graduation he hopes to pursue a role as a Business Analyst.

 

Utilities Sector

Jon Tamposi, from Hollis, NH, majors in Financial Analysis and will graduate in 2017. Anthony Santosuosso, from Rochester, NH majors in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Information Systems and will graduate in 2019. This will be his first year in the group where he will enter as a Utilities Sector Analyst. During the summer of 2016 he will be interning with Harbor Consulting IP Services, a biotech patent company, working as a Business Consultant intern to streamline business processes and incite growth to gain market share. Outside of work and academics he enjoys the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and embracing new experiences. After graduation he hopes to work within financial advising, applying analytics and critical thinking skills to solve tough problems.

 

Charlie Andes is from the small town of Medfield, Massachusetts.  At the university, Charlie plans to study economics and finance.  This is his first year as a member of the Atkins Investment Group and he will serve as a Utilities Sector Analyst.  He is also a brother in the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi.  Charlie will graduate in 2019.  Over the summer of 2016, Charlie will spend his days lifeguarding at LINX Camps in Wellesley, Massachusetts.  In his free time, he enjoys reading, running and swimming.  Throughout his years at The University of New Hampshire, Charlie would like to become a strong role model and mentor for future students.

 

Fixed Income Sector- Corporate Debt

Brad Kelley, from Wakefield, MA majors in Economics with a minor in Business Administration and will graduate in 2017. This is his second year in the group where he holds the position of Fixed Income I Sector Leader. Last year, Brad held the position of Economic Strategy Analyst and Fixed Income Analyst. During the summer of 2016, Brad was an Annuities intern at John Hancock. In his spare time, Brad loves to play golf and spend time with friends and family.

 

Zachery Fitzgerald, from South Hampton, NH, majors in Finance and will graduate in 2018. This year is his second year in the group where he serves as a Fixed Income Analyst for Corporate Debt.  Last year, he served as an Equity Analyst for Basic Materials.  During the summer of 2016, Zach was an Investment Analyst Intern at DHK Financial Advisors, as well as a Real Estate Agent for Fitzgerald Real Estate. In his spare time, Zach is an avid golfer and woodcrafter.

 

Claire Hawkes, from Lee, NH, majors in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurship and a minor in Dance and is on track to graduate in 2018. She will be entering the group for her first year as a Fixed Income Analyst. Outside of her studies she serves as the President of the Business Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma, volunteers with her Sisters of Chi Omega, and practices aerial dance. After graduation she hopes to work at an investment firm while continuing to pursue her love for dance.

 

Fixed Income Sector- Sovereign Debt

Luke Palmer, from Franklin, MA, majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics, will graduate in 2018. This will be his second semester in the group where he will leave his role as Industrial Sector Analyst to serve as Fixed Income Sector Leader. For the past two summers Luke has worked in different roles for EMC corporation. Outside of the classroom he enjoys spending time with friends, snowboarding, and playing golf. Upon graduating, Luke would like to work in the hedge fund or asset management industries.

 

Kelsey Ulaskiewicz, from Dover, NH, dual majors in Finance and Accounting and will graduate this spring of 2017. This is her second year in the group where she serves as a Fixed Income Sector Analyst focusing of sovereign debt and macroeconomics. During the summer of 2016 she interned at KPMG Consulting in the Boston office as an Audit Intern. Kelsey spends her extra time working as a Peer Advisor for incoming freshman in the Paul College Business School. Outside of class she likes to volunteer at the animal shelter and spend time with her family. After graduation she will be working at KPMG Consulting as an Auditor while studying for her CPA exam.

 

Jeremy Dorrell, from South Bend, IN, is a Business Administration major with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics and will graduate in 2019. This will be his first year in the group where he will join the Fixed Income team as an analyst. During the summer of 2016, he was a counselor at Culver Summer Schools and camps where he ensured the safety of the 60 teenagers under his lead as well as prepared them for their daily activities. Outside of academics, he enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, and playing rugby. After graduation, he aspires to work in buy side asset management.

 

Membership Abroad

The following members are currently studying abroad. They will re-join the group again upon their return.

Kelley Brennan, class of 2018, majors in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Economics. She will be entering the group for her first year as a Consumer Staples Analyst. During the summer of 2016, she will be spending time in her hometown of Bolton, MA while she interns in the finance department of UMass Memorial Medical Center. When she’s not spending time on her course work you can find her educating the campus about SHARPP (Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention Program), serving on the Friends of Jaclyn executive board, volunteering with her sisters of Chi Omega, or playing intramural sports. After she graduates, she hopes to work for a public accounting firm and become a Certified Public Accountant.

 

Caroline Schmidt, from North Andover, MA, majors in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Environmental and Resource Economics and will graduate in 2018. This is her second year in the group where she holds the position of Healthcare Sector Analyst. During the summer of 2016 she will intern at State Street as a finance intern. In her spare time she enjoys exercising, cooking and spending time with friends and family. After graduation she hopes to pursue a career in financial services.

 

Taylor McDonald, from Darien, CT, majoring in Psychology with a concentration in industrial-occupational psych as well as minoring in Entrepreneurship. She is on track to graduate in 2018.  For her second semester in AIG she will continue to work as an analyst in the Consumer Discretionary sector.  During the summer of 2016, she will be interning at Nettwerk Music Group in NYC in the Public Relations and Marketing department.  Outside of learning about investments she works for WUNH as a DJ and on their executive board as the Events Director.  She also enjoys trips to Portsmouth with a close group of friends, drawing, and staying physically active.  After graduation she hopes to continue working in the music industry in New York City - introducing the world to amazing new talent.

 

Patrick Kelsey, from New Boston, NH, majors in Business Administrations with a focus in Finance and Accounting and will graduate in 2018. This is his first year in the group where he holds the position of Telecommunications Sector Analyst. During the summer of 2016, Patrick interned at Blue Water Mortgage Corporation as a Junior Loan Officer. He is also a brother of the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys fishing, playing basketball, and spending time with friends and family.

 

Jessica Selensky, from Darien, CT, majors in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and will graduate in 2018. This will be her second year in the group where she will leave her role as an Industrials Sector Analyst to be a Fixed Income Analyst. During the summer of 2016 she will participate in the KPMG Leadership Program along with taking a summer class. In addition to being a member of Atkins, she is also a member of Alpha Phi Omega and on the executive board of Women in Business. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys running, cooking/baking, and spending time with family and friends. After graduation she hopes to work in auditing at one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms where she can incorporate both her interest in accounting as well as continuing to give back to the community through a variety of community service projects.
