Ahmad Etebari is the current Chair of the Accounting and Finance Department at the Whittemore School of Business & Economics, a position he has held since 1994.  He has held visiting professor positions at universities in Australia, New Zealand, and Iran.  Professor Etebari’s research primarily involves in-depth analysis of corporate finance and investments.  In 1992, he received the Whittemore School of Business & Economics’ Excellence in Teaching.  He serves on the board of various organizations, such as The Journal of Northeast Business & Economics Studies and The Petroleum Accounting and Financial Management Journal.

Stephen Ciccone, currently an Associate Professor of Finance, received his Ph.D. in Business Administration (Finance) from Florida State University in 2000. Formerly, he worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen from 1994 to 1996 and has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1995. Professor Ciccone’s research primarily revolves around examining analyst forecasts. He has presented his work worldwide, including the cities of Madrid, Toronto, Bordeaux, and London. In 2006 he won the Whittemore School of Business & Economics’ award for Outstanding Researcher, and in 2010, the award for Excellence in Teaching.
